The AII Round Table, organized by the Durres Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Forum AIC and the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative within the AII Albanian Presidency, will take place on May 18th, 2022,  from 9.00 to 10.30 (Hotel Plaza, Tirana) and aims to learn more about the function of the different chamber systems of the Adriatic Ionian Area and understand the role they can play in the greater development of the EUSAIR.

The XVIII Conference of Speakers/Presidents of Parliaments of the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative will take place in Tirana on 5-6 May 2022, organised by the National Assembly of the Republic of Albania in the framework of Albania’s one-year AII Chairmanship (from June 2021 to May 2022).

The Marche Polytechnic University and the University of Banja Luka, in cooperation with the AII Permanent Secretariat, are organizing the 9th REDETE Conference to be held in Ancona on September 15-16. The topic of the Conference will be “Present and future challenges in regional development in the Adriatic-Ionian Region”.

The 7th Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) will take place in Tirana (Albania), on 16-17 May 2022, under the motto “EU-Youth-AIR cultural exchange”.

The 7th EUSAIR Forum is designed as a great networking event and experience, featuring inspiring speakers and offering opportunities to share and exchange good practice. In addition, you will be able to find out more about initiatives and projects in the Adriatic and Ionian region to be joined regarding your field of expertise or interest. As cooperation is a central concept also for the post-2020 programming period.

The Forum will bring together ministers in charge of foreign affairs and European funds, officials of the European Commission, relevant stakeholders and general public to take part in discussing the future of the Strategy and its role in addressing the key issues in our region. The annual event also aims to raise the visibility of the EUSAIR and reflect on the significant progress made in the last year within the Strategy.

Within the larger framework of the EUSAIR Forum, the Adriatic Ionian Council / EUSAIR Ministerial meeting will take place on May 16th.
