L’Albania tra passato e presente e le sue relazioni con l’Italia. La XV edizione di Adriatico Mediterraneo Festival, dal 18 al 22 agosto ad Ancona, è un invito a conoscere questo straordinario paese, testimone negli ultimi cinquant’anni di un’evoluzione e mutamenti sociali e storici rilevanti. E lo fa nell’anno in cui l’Albania è alla presidenza di turno dell’Iniziativa Adriatico Ionica / EUSAIR.

On July 6th 2021, AII Secretary General and President of the AII-PS Foundation, Amb. Giovanni Castellaneta, and Marche Polytechnic University Rector, Prof. Gian Luca Gregori, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in order to strengthen the collaboration between the two institutions for the development of new scientific teaching activities on issues relating to European integration.

The annual Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Member States of the Central European Initiative (CEI) was held via videoconference on 23 June 2021, under the Montenegrin CEI Presidency and in cooperation with the CEI-Executive Secretariat.
Amb. Castellaneta – AII Secretary General – attended the AI-NURECC high-level launch event on July 2nd 2021 (online), organized by the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR), Coordinator of the Adriatic Ionian Network of Universities, Regions, Chambers of Commerce and Cities PLUS.

The three winning schools in Albania, Croatia and Hungary - selected in the framework of the Call for Ideas competition “Active Young Citizens for Sustainable Development in Central European initiative (CEI) and Adriatic Ionian Initiative (AII) Areas” - were officially announced at the award ceremony on 19 May, host at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Rome (Italy).
